Spatiotemporal characteristics of seasonal to multidecadal variability of pCO2 and air-sea CO2 fluxes in the equatorial Pacific Ocean

A novel strategy of EOFs in a time-time domain is demonstrated, for the first time, and identified the spatio-temporal locking of the equatorial Pacific pCO2 and CO2 fluxes related to the various flavors of ENSO. The study also brought out a few aspects of multi-decadal variability in the equatorial Pacific, where the carbon cycle variability is the largest among the global oceans, and examined its impact on pCO2/CO2 fluxes. Deposition ice nuclei observations over the Indian region during CAIPEEX

In the analysis of Ice Nuclei (IN) samples collected over Indian region during the Cloud Aerosol Interaction and Precipitation Enhancement Experiment (CAIPEEX) large spatial and temporal variation in IN concentration has been observed. Also significant increase in IN concentrations with supersaturation over ice has been observed.. Read More... Critical pollutant emissions from the Indian telecom network

For first time, study reports the estimation of anthropogenic emission from world's 2nd largest Telecom. Discusses and recommends possible mitigation strategy to control Telecom related pollution by 2020. Read more... (Sahu S.K., Schultz M.G., Beig G. , Atmospheric Environment, Feb 2015)
