Under Metflux India, Tower based observations at the Kaziranga National Park, Assam in 2017 revealed a pattern of CO2 fluxes showing somewhat different characteristics compared to other forested eco-systems, for example, the Teak forest in Madhya Pradesh. The daily scale analysis of flux data, when integrated for the entire year, but excluding the data gap period (mid July to mid October) showed that the net ecosystem exchange is marginally positive for the year 2017, corroborating the previous year (2016) observation. |
