Earth Day celebration at IITM
Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), like every year, is celebrating the Earth Day on 22 April 2017. The theme for this year is "Sustainable Earth". As a part of the celebration, several events/competitions will be conducted for the school children of various age groups (4-17 years) e.g., Drawing, Elocution, Skit/Mono act, Climate quiz. Prizes will also be given to winners of each event. Participation certificate will be issued to all the participants. A few movies on the Earth day theme and IITM's research activities will also be screened. This is going to be day-long event.
