By Rail:

Mumbai-Pune road distance is about 170 kms, and there is an
excellent expressway recently built. Most buses, taxis and private
cars from/to Mumbai use this expressway. One can book a shared taxi
(fare: approx. Rs.500) from Mumbai airport to any dropping point in
Pune.
Traveling in Pune:
Autorikshaws and bus services are available from the Pune Railway
Station. If you are new to Pune city, the most convenient way of
traveling is by metered auto rickshaws.
