The landscapes in the background indicate impact of the climate change on our livelihood. The small women icons of different colors represent women of different ethnicity around the world facing these impacts due to climate change. In the time of this crisis, they are standing together holding hands, determined to solve problems and improve livelihood of humankind. Together, they all represent the pink woman in the center, who has a heart and soul of a scientist. The icons around her, weather observations, weather radars, satellite, aircraft, numerical models etc. are her resources using which she aspires to resolve the biggest crisis in the world. IITM logo represents the platform and resources the institute provides, with gender equality, to all who aim to understand climate and resolve crisis. The two rings showing people holding hands in a circle symbolizes humankind across the globe coming together in the face of climate change. All for one and one for all.
